Cool Roof cools a transport warehouse in climatic zone H1

Thanks to the application of our cool roofing solution on the roof of this transport warehouse located in climatic zone H1, the building has lost up to 39°C in surface temperature and 4.8°C in interior ambient temperature, guaranteeing improved thermal comfort without modifying the existing insulation.

En France, on distingue trois zones climatiques : H1, H2 et H3. Celles-ci sont ensuite divisées en 8 sous-zones.

A high-performance roof... but not enough to cope with the sun's rays

With a thermal resistance of 3 m²K/W, the roof of this logistics warehouse met insulation standards. However, in summer, direct sunlight caused the temperature inside to rise, affecting the thermal comfort of operators and the stability of goods.

Cool Roof France deployed its thermo-reflective coating to limit solar absorption and lower temperatures both on the roof and inside the building.

Immediate gains in surface area and ambient temperature

-39°C surface temperature

Daytime readings show a maximum drop in surface temperature of 39°C and an average of 16°C over the day. The roof no longer overheats, even with prolonged exposure.

Grâce à Cool Roof, les températures extérieures de cet entrepôt logistique ont significativement baissé.

-4.8°C indoors in the middle of the day

The indoor temperature dropped to 4.8°C in hot weather, with a daytime average of 2.2°C.

Grâce à Cool Roof, les températures ambiantes se sont stabilisées.
