Cool Roof cools a cold store in zone H3

Thanks to the application of our cool roofing solution on a refrigerated warehouse located in zone H3, the building was able to effectively reduce its summer overheating and electricity consumption, while significantly improving indoor thermal comfort and the building’s carbon footprint.

Effective reduction of temperature and heat stress

Better control of ambient temperatures

Analysis of the temperature data shows a significant heat gain:

  • Up to 14.8°C reduction in peak daytime indoor temperatures,

  • And an average reduction of 7.7°C over the period observed.

This performance greatly reduces overheating episodes, thereby reducing the risks to the cold chain and equipment.

Fewer degree-hours of discomfort

Thanks to the reduction in indoor temperatures, there has also been a 21% reduction in uncomfortable degree hours over the summer period, contributing to more stable indoor conditions, which are essential for a cold logistics site.
